In the 1970′s, actress and model Tippi Hedren (mother of actress Melanie Griffith) created the Shambala Preserve after producing the film Roar. The preserve rescued exotic big cats living in captivity that had been abused or were in need of help, one of which the family created a close bond with. Neil the lion lived with the family in their home, and played an active role in the day to day activities of the preserve.

Imagine going to take the trash out & hearing a lion roar from the other side of the fence…..

i’m the worst i just had a serious moment of worrying about my relationship with my cat omg

so i’m dogsitting this weekend and brought the dog over to my house today and props 2 my cat, he wasn’t scared, he just straight up was trying to pounce on that bitch and murder her

and he is about the same size but at least five times heavier, it would’ve been terrible and possibly lethal

part of me really wanted to see the carnage ensue
